The role focuses on constructing custom shipping crates for products, utilizing a saw to cut materials and a nail gun for assembly. It is situated within the shipping and receiving department.
Responsibilities include handling picking, packing, and shipping duties, measuring conveyors and related components to determine packaging needs, and fabricating crates and skids accordingly.
Successful candidates are team‑oriented, possess strong communication, basic computer, measurement, and math abilities, can adjust priorities as needed, pay close attention to detail, and are capable of safely lifting up to 40 lb; prior saw experience is advantageous.
The position operates on a four‑day work week, Monday through Thursday, from 2:00 pm to 12:30 am, with a $2 per hour premium for the second shift and Fridays off.
