Description
The position is responsible for maintaining, installing, repairing, and upgrading NMDC's automated welding and support systems. It also ensures equipment readiness, compliance with safety standards, and accurate documentation of activities.
- Troubleshoot welding and support equipment and determine required corrective/preventive actions.
- Calibrate equipment.
- Maintain equipment logs and shift reporting.
- Maintain required levels of automatic welding spares and consumables on offshore barges/vessels during pipeline installation campaigns.
- Optimize automatic welding equipment to improve installation rates and reduce operational costs.
- Attend toolbox and safety meetings with welding crews to implement NPCC/Client HSE procedures and ensure a safe working environment on offshore pipelay barges/vessels.
- Adhere to company policies, integrity code of conduct, and HSE standards.
