The specialist plays a key role in introducing new technologies, supporting change management, and driving continuous improvement by working closely with engineering and implementation teams.

The Technical Specialist HFC is responsible for ensuring the health and performance of the production network by providing expert technical support and guidance. The role involves contributing to RFP processes, reviewing technical designs, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex incidents within service level targets. It also includes managing software upgrades, supporting project delivery across multiple programs, and maintaining network integrity.

The ideal candidate strong technical expertise in HFC networks, DOCSIS, RF technologies. They have a solid understanding of the TCP/UDP network stack and protocols such as DHCP and TFTP. They are skilled in resolving network incidents, managing software and hardware lifecycles, and supporting end-to-end network projects with minimal guidance.

To be eligible for this role, you must have full working rights in Australia.

Proficient in tools like CommScope CMTs, Incognito SAC/BCC, Skyline DataMiner, and scripting (Python, Linux), they also demonstrate solid problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and adaptability. Their hands-on experience and proactive approach make them well-suited for supporting both operational and project-based initiatives., effective communication, influencing, planning, and organizational skills are also required.
