Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering design experience with a proven track record of managing and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Strong understanding of project management, quality management, human resources practices, and financial and administrative principles.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and deliver clear, compelling presentations.
Hands-on experience in Civil, Structural, Architectural, or Mechanical design for utility substations.
Exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to mentor, coach, and inspire teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university, with a Canadian Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng.) or eligibility for registration with EGBC.
In-depth knowledge of Canadian codes and standards, including Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and CSA standards; familiarity with North American transmission structure design standards.
