Prepare and maintain development schedules.
Assist with land planning, zoning, and entitlements.
Solicit and compare proposals for vendors for new developments (e.g. surveyors, engineers, architects, environmental consultants, etc.).
Assist with closings for land acquisitions and financing for new developments, in addition to closings on acquisitions.
Assist in deal analysis and underwriting on new development projects as well as acquisition opportunities.
Research and prepare market studies for new developments and acquisitions.
Provide ongoing support through the construction process.
Establish a professional working relationship with public agencies and consultants to ensure successful project completion.
Prepare for and attend public hearings and municipal meetings as required.
The individual in this position is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by actively preventing accidents, preserving equipment, and promoting safe working practices.
Prepare for and attend regular development and acquisition team meetings.
This role involves actively participating in all staff activities aimed at fostering teamwork, unity, and morale. The individual will contribute as a collaborative team player, working alongside colleagues to create a supportive and cohesive work environment.
Coordinate with government authorities, engineers, architects, and contractors.
Review title reports, surveys, geotechnical, environmental reports, and other real estate documents as part of the due diligence process.
Maintain closing and development files.
Balance multiple projects simultaneously.
Coordinate with various utility service providers to verify and/or obtain necessary services.

Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling and budgeting is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, construction or other relevant field required.
This position may need to move through areas of the corporate office or other worksites of the organization.
This position may involve a range of physical activities, including those outlined in the Essential Duties, but is not limited to them. This position may need to walk or stand for extended periods, especially when conducting punch list inspections or walkthroughs.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, cost tracking and forecasting is preferred.
Travel to Cedarhurst worksites is a requirement of this role. This role can expect to travel up to 20%.
This position is required to work onsite at the St. Louis Dover Companies headquarters.
This position may need to lift to forty (40) pounds.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization is required of this role.
Previous experience managing real estate development projects including financial oversight and design implementation is preferred.
