Description

• Obtain and maintain a Tru Vue forklift operation license.
• Operate forklift to transport materials to and from production, ensuring correct quantities.
• Stage, store, and ship materials in designated locations.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including glass cullet and trash removal.
• Inspect and maintain forklift safety, reporting any deficiencies.
• Load and unload trucks and secure pallets with stretch wrap or banding.
• Document continuous‑improvement and waste‑reduction suggestions.
• Follow documented work procedures and collaborate effectively in a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments.
• 2–3 years of forklift operating experience.
• Basic computer, reading, and math skills.
• Awareness of factory safety and strong interpersonal abilities.

Benefits

The position is a full‑time forklift operator working Monday‑Thursday first shift (5:00 am‑3:00 pm) with hourly wages ranging from $22.85 for trainees to $23.62 after six months. The role supports production by moving glass products and raw materials throughout the plant.
