• Lead and execute routine and non‑routine QC testing in compliance with cGMP and approved methods.
• Serve as technical SME for chromatographic techniques (HPLC, UPLC, GC) with UV/Vis, PDA and MS detectors.
• Independently develop, optimise, and troubleshoot chromatographic methods.
• Design and conduct method development studies assessing specificity, robustness, linearity, sensitivity and performance.
• Lead forced degradation and stability‑indicating studies.
• Plan, execute, and review full analytical method validation packages per ICH Q2(R2).
• Author, review and approve method development reports, validation protocols, reports and technical justifications.
• Provide technical oversight for method transfers and analytical lifecycle management.
• Perform advanced data analysis including integration, impurity profiling and data trending.
• Lead or support OOS/OOT investigations, root‑cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Ensure data integrity, high‑quality documentation and strict adherence to GMP, SOPs and regulatory expectations.
• Support regulatory inspections, client audits and internal audits as QC representative.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior QC analysts.
• Maintain professionalism with clients, contractors and colleagues.
• Comply with SGS policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with peers.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QC Analyst to provide technical leadership within our Quality Control laboratory, focusing on chromatographic method development, optimisation and validation. The successful candidate will act as a subject‑matter expert for analytical methods, ensuring robust, compliant and scientifically sound testing in accordance with GMP and ICH guidelines, and will independently lead complex analytical activities in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

• Expert‑level hands‑on experience with HPLC, UPLC and GC, including UV/Vis, PDA and MS detectors.
• Advanced chromatographic method development, optimisation and troubleshooting.
• Full analytical method validation execution and documentation.
• Experience with impurity profiling, forced degradation and stability‑indicating methods.
• Strong GMP documentation, data integrity and inspection readiness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical GMP QC or analytical development laboratory.
• Proven leadership in method development, optimisation and validation activities.
• Knowledge of ICH Q2(R2) and GMP regulations.
• Ability to work independently, lead complex studies and mentor junior staff.
• Familiarity with additional analytical technologies (KF, IR, PSD, X‑ray, wet chemistry).
• Good organisational, communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with LIMS and TrackWise systems.
• Apply strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Manage time well and pay close attention to detail.
