Conduct statistical and geospatial analysis of data using software programs such as R Studio and ArcGIS
Prepare technical reports, charts, and figures
Perform field investigations including, but not limited to, construction site inspections, water quality sampling of lakes and streams, and stormwater system investigations
Provide support for EPA NPDES regulatory compliance programs for construction, municipal, and industrial sources of stormwater discharge
Support the development of local, state, and federal permit applications
Prepare daily reports of field investigations documenting compliance status

Requirements

Ability to perform field work in adverse weather conditions over uneven terrain
Self-motivated with attention to detail
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within New Hampshire
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, data science, earth science, or a related field
No prior internship experience required, but previous internship experience is preferred
Ability to solve problems and think critically
Strong data and geospatial analytical skills
