The Survey CAD Technician role supports diverse projects ranging from land development to renewable energy and construction. Working in a flexible environment with a strong company culture, the technician becomes a subject‑matter expert, providing drafting guidance, producing detailed drawings, analyzing survey data, and coordinating workflow with project managers to meet chargeability goals.
- Provide drafting guidance and serve as a resource for design staff.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to create drawings that meet company standards.
- Produce project drawings such as ALTA surveys, final plats, dedication maps, construction layouts, and staking plans.
- Review and analyze survey data, including legal descriptions, easements, and condominium documents.
- Edit and modify plans in response to agency, municipal, and client revisions.
- Communicate workflow status with Project Managers and Team Leaders to achieve chargeability targets.

Candidates should have experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred) and familiarity with Trimble Business Center (preferred). A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred, along with a solid understanding of ALTA surveys, topography, boundaries, and construction staking.
