What you would be doing
  • Maintaining budget information in existing general ledger structures and assisting in
  • Coordinating the development, implementation, and control of budgets for operating services and related administrative expenses including labor/fringe budgets; performing advanced analyses of budget performance and cash flow on a monthly, annual, and ad hoc basis and making recommendations to management regarding budget performance and potential efficiencies; performing special studies and participating in projects related to budget, revenue, personnel, and management decisions.
  • Developing, maintaining, and implementing methods of analyzing and modeling financial information, responding to requests for both internal and external data; prepares complex budget and financial reports as mandated by accounting standards and the administration; assisting internal and external clients in compiling data and interpreting reporting requirements and regulations; creating and maintaining statistical reports; planning and monitoring timelines in order to meet strict deadlines in reporting requirements: reviewing and verifying statistical and financial information. including audit reports.
  • Formulating, implementing and maintaining budget policies and procedures; assisting with training and quality review of work products for junior staff members; representing the department as a member of internal or external working groups or committees.
