Support living wall installations as required.
Monitor for pests and implement treatment as necessary to preserve plant integrity.
Maintain daily notes, update maintenance logs, and document photos in Google Drive.
Care for Greenery plant inventory at our HQ/studio, ensuring plants are watered and cared for.
Check automated systems (irrigation, lighting) regularly to ensure proper function.
Check the calendar and Greenery NYC email daily for updates and communications.
Assist with installations, including planting, delivery, and installation of interior plants.
Assess individual plant water needs and provide appropriate watering to maintain plant health.
Dust plant leaves and prune foliage to uphold a tidy and attractive appearance.
Actively participate and contribute to meetings, projects, and company initiatives.

Minimum of 1 year experience working with plants in a professional setting or a degree in horticulture.
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
Availability to work weekends.
Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the property or other areas on a timely basis.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Availability to work 1 x off-hours shift per week (6am-2pm and/or 11am-7pm)
Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to design and detail.
Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours per day.
Must be able to move items weighing in excess of 50 lbs. routinely.
Possess a smartphone and the ability to navigate public transit around NYC.
Continuously develop horticultural skills and proficiency in operating and troubleshooting automated systems.
Ability to lift objects weighing 30+ lbs regularly.
