Direct and review the work of engineering technicians to ensure accuracy and quality.
Assist in the design, planning, and preparation of construction drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for new municipal infrastructure projects.
Assist in the design and preparation of plans for commercial, residential, and site development projects, such as roads, bridges, water supply networks, sewage systems, and public parks
Support the planning, analysis, and design of water, wastewater, drainage, and transportation systems.
Prepare technical reports, studies, and documentation using tools such as MS Office Suite.
Analyze design alternatives to address site constraints and meet client objectives – keeping time and budget priority
Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
Prepare reports, calculations, and presentations for internal use and public meetings.
Collaborate on permitting and regulatory compliance for site development projects.
Coordinate with internal departments (architects, urban planners, and construction managers, etc.), utility companies, contractors, and regulatory agencies to coordinate projects and ensure compliance with local regulations

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, hydrology, and municipal infrastructure systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime as needed.
Knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools.
EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months from start date.
1–5 years of professional civil engineering experience
