What you would be doing

  • Receives request for quotation- bill of quantity from Sales Team or directly customer.
  • Further processing with supporting documents such as customer official Purchase Order, PO Checklist and calculation sheet and vendor special cost reference (if any).
  • Support Sales Managers with material delivery follow up & Prioritization process in close coordination with Business Unit & OM Team
  • Supporting the Digital Industries Order Management team in various adhoc activities
  • IMALL Customer creation for new customers
  • Prepares internal cost sheet, checks part nos. and prices and liase with Technical Specialists from business segments to verify part numbers if required
  • Checks and approves Purchase order created before orders are released to factory where required
  • Prepares quotation for Sales for Digital Industries & sends signed / system approved offers to customers (IMALL or manual where required)
  • Regular monitoring, reporting of orders in coordination with respective Siemens Internal and external stake holders eg suppliers, freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of customer orders
  • Participating in Customer Relationship Management related activities
  • Requests for creation of customers in the master data list.
  • Creates and extends SAP materials in Material Master.
  • Monitoring and Expediting; Expediting, prioritization, dispatch process co-ordination
  • Notify the customer in advance of the expected shipments
  • Prepares cost / calculation sheets along with required export control checks (Compass, Damex – E, P, Gloria etc)
