

Provider of non‑hazardous solid waste collection, recycling, disposal and energy services.
Daily tasks include confined‑space entry (manholes, tanks), oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, sweeping, high‑pressure washing, and other remedial activities. The technician operates a range of light and heavy equipment such as roll‑off trucks, vacuum trucks, box trucks, skid steers, forklifts and pallet‑jacks, and responds to customer spills both during and after normal business hours. Additional responsibilities involve DOT pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, maintaining vehicle logs, equipment upkeep, and general housekeeping.
The Environmental Services Field Technician I (Driver Non‑CDL) at Republic Services performs emergency response and hazardous/non‑hazardous spill cleanup as well as Hazmat decontamination.
Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, be DOT‑qualified (or able to become qualified) to operate vehicles between 10k‑26k lb, and complete a 40‑hour HAZWOPER training upon hire. Preferred qualifications include proficiency with heavy and light equipment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
