Description

The Senior Project Manager at Precision Medicine Group leads clinical study projects, ensuring that quality, scope, cost, and timelines are met. This role acts as the main client liaison and oversees all functional services and external vendors to keep projects on track and within budget.

Key duties include managing study budgets, developing comprehensive project plans with risk mitigation, ensuring quality readiness such as eTMF inspections, and maintaining integrated collaboration with clinical and operational teams. The Senior Project Manager also prepares status updates, leads internal and client meetings, delivers formal presentations, and supports business development activities.

• Serve as primary point‑of‑contact and escalation lead for the client.
• Coordinate all functional services and external vendors to meet timelines and budgets.
• Manage study budgets, monitor profitability, and ensure accurate billing and forecasting.
• Develop robust project plans with timelines, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure quality management, including eTMF inspection readiness and corrective action plans.
• Establish tracking metrics and report project status, KPIs, and solutions to stakeholders.
• Lead internal and client meetings, set expectations, and communicate protocol issues.
• Conduct formal presentations and bid defenses to diverse audiences.
• Implement and monitor study‑specific training compliance across functional areas.
• Support business development and marketing efforts, including travel for bid meetings.
• Provide ongoing feedback and performance reviews for functional team members.
• Maintain compliance with organizational training, time‑reporting, and administrative duties.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least seven years of clinical research experience, including four years of direct project management, a bachelor's degree in a science or health‑related field (advanced degree preferred), and experience managing complex, global trials. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS, along with strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, are essential.

• Minimum 7 years clinical research experience; 4 years direct project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or health‑related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Experience managing complex, global clinical trials and ability to travel internationally.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of ICH‑GCP, Precision SOPs, and project management methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and ability to inspire high‑performance teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
• Preferred experience in oncology, cell therapy, or gene therapy research.

Benefits

The position offers a compensation range of $147,300 to $220,900 USD, along with discretionary bonuses, health insurance, retirement savings, life and disability coverage, parental leave, and paid time off.
