What you would be doing
crane operation

Operate crane for loading coils.
Assist other operators in the facility when required during breakdowns, bottle necks, and scheduled downtime.
Operate controls for leveler/End welder.
Set up butt welder for each gauge of material; weld coil ends together.
Fill out all operating reports and quality reports as required.
The employee is regularly required to stand and walk, use hands, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Keep uncoiler loaded with correct material for production
Keep accumulator loaded with sufficient steel supply to run mill continuously.
Keep work area and/or equipment clean and in a safe condition.
Report any irregularities or malfunctions to managers and/or maintenance.
Assist in the performance of mill changeovers.
Empty all scrap buckets.
Assist maintenance personnel in making repairs to equipment.
Identify butt welds, gauge changes, and coil numbers with paint.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Bend, Twist, Stoop, Sit, Kneel, Crawl, push and pull. Able to reach in all directions.
Proven leadership skills
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism and a great work ethic
Tube mill manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push, pull, and able to lift 50 lbs
High school diploma/GED required
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility
Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time to cover shift.
Visual acuity to read and record numerical data
Must be able to follow written/verbal instructions; basic computer skills; able to read measuring devices/equipment, and basic math skills
Regular full-time predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role.
