Set Strategy for marketing and commercialization activities for product launches
Define and execute the product roadmap for Rheem Commercial Air Controls
Lead cross-functional team on product development projects utilizing the Product Development Council and Product Development Process
Collaborate with other departments such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Marketing, Finance to ensure profitable growth of product category and successful execution of various product development projects
Identify and implement smart control strategies that optimize IAQ while balancing energy efficiency
Identify emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning, cloud-based controls) and assess their applicability to HVAC controls
Collaborate with R&D and system engineering and manufacturing to develop new products
Perform market research & customer sensing activities required to refine product designs
Lead the development of programmable, smart, and learning thermostats for commercial applications
Provide product leadership at customer and internal events & meetings
Ensure product compliance with ASHRAE standards, UL/CE certifications, regulations and local building codes
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for HVAC control systems, including BACnet, Modbus, and IoT-enabled devices
Lead competitive benchmarking activities to identify and address product gaps. These include product tear-downs, PEP process, customer surveys, online research and other benchmarking methodologies
Collaborate with other Rheem divisions to promote cross divisional partnerships in controls to jointly developing products and new technologies
Develop and manage a portfolio of IAQ-focused control solutions, including CO₂ sensors, VOC detectors, particulate matter sensors, and integrated air purification systems
Support the development and maintenance of product literature, product training, sales training, product pricing and product marketing materials
Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure intuitive interfaces and seamless integration with tablet and mobile apps

Demonstrate deep knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation, and control technologies
Ability to travel around 20% to 30% within the US
Experience with New Product Development Process of engineered products

Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
Prior experience in sales, marketing or product management in the HVAC industry
Demonstrated project management and team leadership skills.

Showcase familiarity with IAQ technologies (CO₂, VOC, PM2.5 sensors) and smart thermostats
Ability to think outside the box to offer new ideas, concepts, solutions, etc.
