The selected professional will manage the scheduling program for the market, ensuring schedules are produced, maintained, updated, and issued regularly throughout project duration. They will monitor schedule trends, alert management to potential impacts, and support proposal development with strategic scheduling input. Continuous learning, skill development, leading by example, and holding team members accountable to Gray’s policies are expected.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of scheduling experience, including managing scheduling staff across multiple projects. They must possess deep knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes, the design process, and project administration such as submittals, change management, and schedule logic. Familiarity with earned value management, cost and manpower loading, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is required. The role also demands the ability to develop baseline schedules with site teams, prepare executive updates, create construction sequencing, and identify and mitigate scheduling conflicts.
The position requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, hand use, reaching, and communication, with occasional climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close‑up focus. Work is performed in a normal office setting with moderate noise and controlled temperature; overtime may be needed.
The role does not qualify for visa sponsorship and includes supervisory responsibilities for scheduling staff.
