Reporting to the Accounts Payable Lead, the Officer ensures accurate, timely processing of vendor invoices and credit notes, maintaining payments to avoid supply disruption and fostering strong vendor relationships through statement reconciliation and proactive liaison.
The role rotates payment runs, handling SAP and direct banking transactions, and manages various requests from the internal inbox such as trade‑ins, buy‑ins, foreign‑exchange swaps, noteholder, weekly, payroll tax and BAS payments.
Responsibility includes ensuring compliance with procurement and payment controls, with helpful knowledge of Ariba to support invoicing, purchase order management, and end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay processes.
Candidates need at least five years’ accounts payable experience, high attention to detail, intermediate MS Office and internet skills, strong time‑management and organisational abilities, and the capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
