Operating within a global HVAC group, the UK unit retains significant commercial autonomy; the director must design and execute a UK‑specific commercial strategy that aligns with group frameworks, governance and performance oversight.
This senior leadership role blends strategic direction with hands‑on execution in a technically complex, contract‑led environment, overseeing sales, marketing, key‑account management and the development of a high‑performance commercial culture.
As a board member, the director provides strategic advice to the chair, supports corporate and annual planning, ensures statutory and regulatory compliance, and safeguards the financial health of the business.

- Be responsible for trading solvently, protecting the interests of creditors and debtors.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to achieve cost‑effective operations and market development.
- Communicate company policies and legal guidelines throughout the organisation and ensure adherence.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and other statutory regulations, protecting employees, customers and sub‑contractors.
