Requirements

We have exciting opportunities for Maintenance Apprentices, as well as Electrical Instrumentation Apprentice and Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting Apprentice positions at entry‑level Phase I.

Eligibility – all applicants must be 18 years of age or over on or before 31 January 2026 and must be born on or before 31 January 2008.

Candidates must have at least a Grade D or higher at Ordinary Level in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Irish or English, a science subject, and any two other subjects. Acceptable science subjects include Applied Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Physics and Chemistry, and Agricultural Science; alternative subjects such as Art, Construction Studies, Design & Communication, Graphics, Engineering, Home Economics, Technical Drawing and Technology are also accepted. An online assessment will be used as part of the recruitment and selection process.

• Earn a nationally and internationally recognised QQ1 Level 6 Advanced Craft Certificate.
