Senior-Level Civil/Site Development Engineer
Power Engineers

Senior civil engineer designing power plant/site infrastructure.
Develop site layout, grading, storm water management, vehicular circulation, underground utilities, retaining walls, and wastewater management
Perform detailed engineering reviews of the work submitted by others
Participate and lead business development activities for company and Civil Discipline
Hydrology and Hydraulic Calculations and Studies to design stormwater management systems including detention and infiltration systems to prevent environmental impacts of flooding.
Provide mentorship and guidance to others.
Supervise and mentor less experienced Engineers and CAD Designers (a majority of personnel report to the Overland Park Office.)
Interface with State and Local permitting agencies and construction entities for US and international projects
Earthwork and Erosion Control Calculations to avoid unnecessary environmental impact and cost
Coordinate regularly with the Project Engineer/Manager to ensure project scope, budget, and quality expectations are met

Professional Engineer License
Experience in site design for utilities, industrial facilities, municipal infrastructure, storm drainage and stormwater management design, site grading, roadway and utility design, sanitary sewer design and analysis, construction specification development and development of construction bid packages
The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
Power plant and substation site design experience
Candidate is legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship
