Maintains and improves reliability and safety of test facilities through maintenance and analysis.
Optimize the use of physical assets, extending their life and improving return on investment.
Analyze data from equipment monitoring systems (e.g., vibration, temperature) to predict failures.
Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving facility safety
Drive the development and implementation of the plant’s Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
Participate in Team activities for Human Resources, Problem Solving, 5S, Kaizen, Lean, and continuous improvements projects.
Contribute to the overall goal of reducing downtime, improving equipment performance, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving equipment reliability, such as upgrades or new equipment installations.
Provide training to maintenance and operations staff on reliability practices and equipment care.
Collaborate with equipment suppliers to improve reliability and resolve issues.
Prepare reports on reliability metrics, including Operational Availability (OA), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure points and prioritize maintenance activities.

Degree requirements: Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent discipline from accredited institution or 2-yr degree in Mechatronics or equivalent discipline with 5 additional years of experience
Preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance experience
Strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work in a safe manner
Experience with system LOTO, Lift Plans, Line Breaks, Management of Change, Hot Work Permits, Confined Space, SDS, Hazardous Area Classifications, and Process Safety Management
Machining and part inspection experience
PLC experience
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability and willingness to work overtime or weekend shifts as business needs may require.
Electrical experience with ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams
2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance
Proficiency in CMMS work order tracking systems such as L2L or Maximo
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs
Instrumentation and control troubleshooting experience
Familiarity with NFPA70E
Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
Hand and power tool experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
