The Video Editor & Digital Media Intern will plan, edit, and produce high‑quality video content that supports SOLV Energy’s brand storytelling and digital communications, focusing primarily on video editing and production while providing secondary support for social media when needed, offering hands‑on experience and a professional portfolio in the renewable energy sector.

• Edit short‑ and long‑form videos for social media, internal communications, and corporate storytelling.
• Cut, assemble, and color‑correct footage; add motion graphics, captions, music, and sound design.
• Create simple short‑form social videos from existing footage and draft accompanying copy.
• Repurpose long‑form content into clips for platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram Reels.
• Organize and maintain video project files, footage logs, and digital asset libraries.
• Assist with pre‑production tasks including storyboarding, script outlines, shot lists, and timelines.
• Support on‑site and remote video shoots with b‑roll capture, equipment set‑up, and basic photography.
• Ensure all video content is brand‑aligned, polished, and optimized for platform‑specific delivery.
• Apply strong storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Travel occasionally for field shoots or content collection as needed.
• Submit three samples of best video‑related work, such as edited videos, reels, or motion graphics.

Requirements

This full‑time summer 2026 internship is based in San Diego, CA, and is open to candidates pursuing or recently graduated in film, digital media, communications, marketing, or a related field, with expectations discussed during the interview process.

• Demonstrate foundational to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve).
