Develop pipeline simulation models, perform simulations of selected cases as defined by self / project and assess simulation results.
Report to flow assurance SME.
Perform design calculations and prepare technical reports in accordance with company and project quality requirements.
Contribute to flow assurance strategies, philosophies and procedures.
Act as a flow assurance engineer on a range of upstream projects, and conduct Flow Assurance studies using software packages, e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM etc.

Ability and experience of presenting to clients.

Proven ability to plan and execute studies.
Experience in pipeline over pressure protection studies including surge pressure analysis.
Experience in assessing flow assurance issues like slugging, hydrates, wax, erosion, corrosion etc. by use of simulation software’s and providing the best mitigation solutions.
Demonstrate excellent technical report writing and presentation skills
Good understanding of thermodynamics and experience of Multiflash preferred.
Experience on flow assurance conceptual and front-end studies and topsides process engineering activities including process modelling in HYSYS would be an advantage but not essential.
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in flow assurance modelling using OLGA transient simulation software.
An ability to work in a collaborative way as part of a multi-discipline project group with minimum supervision.
In single and multi-phase pipelines steady state and transient hydraulic analyses using industry standard software, e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM, PIPENET etc. is essential.
Ability to work well independently and in a team.
Experience in pipeline sizing and thermo-hydraulics Studies, transient analysis covering shut down, blowdown, start-Up, ramp-up / turndown scenarios.
Office working; 5 days in Leatherhead
Knowledge of flow assurance issues including slugging, hydrates, wax, erosion, corrosion etc. and mitigation methods.
Knowledge of applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
