The EHS Supervisor supports safety and compliance initiatives at client data center locations. This role is responsible for implementing site-level EHS programs, supporting regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong culture of safety for employees, contractors, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, or high-tech environments and possess a strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations. This is a hands-on, field-focused role that works closely with site leadership and crews to maintain safe operations.
- Assist with planning and implementing risk mitigation strategies, including emergency response plans addressing construction activities and data center risks such as high-voltage systems, battery storage, HVAC systems, and confined space work
- Engage employees and contractors daily to reinforce safe work behaviors and strengthen the site safety culture
- Track, maintain, and report site-level EHS metrics, documentation, and logs, and provide regular updates to the Director of EHS and site leadership
- Conduct routine site inspections, hazard analyses, and risk assessments to identify and correct unsafe conditions
- Participate in required training sessions and safety briefings
- Coordinate and deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and field training for employees and contractors, including emergency response, hazardous materials, and safe work practices
- Support regulatory, client, and internal audits and inspections, and coordinate site readiness activities and documentation
- Support site environmental compliance activities as assigned, including waste management practices, documentation, and required reporting
- Evaluate training needs and recommend improvements based on site trends and changing work conditions
- Investigate and document incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking
- Maintain accurate records related to training, inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate corrective actions with site leadership and contractors to reduce the recurrence of incidents
- Ensure site activities comply with company standards, client requirements, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Implement and oversee site EHS procedures and programs for data center operations and construction activities

5+ years
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to respond to emergencies and manage crisis situations.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and managing EHS programs within semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech project settings.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 5 years of EHS experience in data centers, critical facilities, construction, or industrial environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with contractor safety programs and vendor management.
- Certifications preferred: CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician), OHST (Occupational Health and Safety Technician), or similar.
