Description

• Lead and coordinate multiple trades crews, assigning work based on material and labor requirements.
• Ensure top‑quality workmanship and compliance with specifications, schedules, and AP’s quality standards.
• Promote and maintain an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) safety culture; train team on safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor crew efficiency, morale, communication and provide guidance and training as needed.
• Perform quantity take‑offs for concrete, wood blocking and other construction materials.
• Communicate repair and maintenance needs for equipment; keep job site clean and organized.
• Provide calculations on hours worked, materials needed, and staffing resources to the project team.
• Inspect work‑in‑progress to verify compliance with AP’s quality management programs.
• Perform trade work alongside crew members when required.
• Report priority issues to the Superintendent or Project Manager.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead multiple trades on job sites, coordinating carpenters, laborers and operators while ensuring safety, quality and efficient execution. The Foreman acts as the primary liaison with the Superintendent and Project Manager, translating project plans into daily work assignments and monitoring progress.

The role requires a proven leadership track record with at least six years of related trade experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with construction‑management software such as Procore, MS Project, Excel, SureTrak or AutoCAD. Physical stamina to lift up to 100 lb, climb ladders and work in various climate conditions is essential.

• Minimum high school diploma/GED with 6+ years of directly related trades experience and progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Preferred post‑secondary coursework or degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, Excel, SureTrak, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or move materials, supplies, tools and ladders up to 100 lb repeatedly.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, kneel, crouch and reach throughout the workday.
• Current or ability to obtain OSHA certification and, optionally, forklift certification and a commercial driver’s license.
• Strong written, oral and listening communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated integrity, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with team members and stakeholders.
