Perform general design activities independently and under the mentorship of a Lead Design Engineer/Technologist or PM.
Perform detailed drafting under the mentorship of the Lead Design Engineer/Technologist or PM.

Ensure BIM Standards, Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures are followed during drawing planning and production.

A Diploma or Certificate in Engineering Design & Drafting, Building Environmental Systems Technology or equivalent from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Proficient in using HAP or similar building simulation software.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Experience in construction inspection is an asset.
Knowledge of the BC and National Building Codes, National Plumbing Code, ASHRAE standards, and NFPA is an asset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Eligible for registration with ASTTBC is an asset.
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
Technical skills in the design of HVAC and building plumbing.
Familiar with data processing and spreadsheets.
