As a member of the team you will support automation projects by performing on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, leading startup and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems, and collaborating with automation engineers to troubleshoot and validate systems. Clear communication with customers and project teams ensures smooth progress, and travel rotations follow schedules such as 5‑on/2‑off, 10‑on/4‑off, or 14‑on/7‑off.
For those who’d rather be on the move than behind a desk, ProAutomated is opening its 2026 hiring pipeline for curious, adaptable problem‑solvers who love travel, hands‑on work, and being part of a team that actually knows your name. If you can laugh through flight delays, figure things out on the fly, and enjoy solving complex problems, this role may be a perfect fit.
We are looking for candidates who love travel, have a working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and communication networking, and thrive when plans change. You must live within 50 miles of a major airport, have a personal vehicle available within 45 days, be authorized to work in the U.S., and possess a technical degree or at least three years of hands‑on experience in a related field.
The role requires walking long distances across large facilities, climbing ladders or stairs, lifting up to 50 lb, and standing, kneeling, or reaching for extended periods, as well as working in varied environments such as construction sites, outdoors, and extreme temperatures; reasonable accommodations are available.
Our four‑week paid training prepares technically skilled individuals with a basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking. Success in training is required before field work, so candidates without this knowledge may not be the right fit.
At ProAutomated you will travel to new cities, work directly with customers across North America, and earn travel rewards while enjoying competitive salary, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. The company invests in your development through merit raises, a guaranteed salary increase after six months, and a supportive, people‑first culture where managers have risen from the same positions.
