The position oversees all phases of survey work—from project initiation and client scoping through execution and final delivery—while providing rigorous QA/QC oversight to ensure precise and dependable outcomes. You will work closely with engineers, planners, and project leaders to develop innovative solutions across boundary, topographic, photogrammetric, construction, and GPS control surveys.
- Coordinate and supervise survey projects from initiation to delivery, defining scope, estimates, schedules, approvals, and milestones with clients.
- Direct execution of boundary, topographic, photogrammetric, construction, and GPS control surveys.
- Perform QA/QC reviews and post‑processing quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Organize, schedule, and oversee multiple field crews for safe, efficient, well‑documented operations.
- Partner with survey managers, engineers, and planners on proposals, pursuits, and active projects.
- Support development of qualification materials and prepare survey deliverables aligned with client expectations.
- Lead and influence major transportation projects shaping community mobility.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams that value technical excellence and client success.

In this role you will lead complex transportation infrastructure survey projects, guide multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high‑quality technical results that support safer, smarter, and more resilient mobility solutions.
- Minimum 15 years of surveying experience; high school diploma required, A.A.S. or B.S. in surveying preferred (required if not licensed).
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required unless holding accredited B.S.; valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D; MicroStation a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team‑coordination skills; professional representation with clients and public.
- Ability to travel as needed.
