Develop Erosion and Sediment Control and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
Prepare report and technical memorandum
Design Stormwater Best Management Practice (BMPs) or SWM facilities to meet state and local requirements
Perform technical work in various software applications, including but not limited to MicroStation, Openroads Designer, Civil 3D, PCSWMM, StormCAD, PondPack, HEC-RAS, and ARC-GIS
Develop drainage and Stormwater Management Design for Transportation improvement projects
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, analysis, and modeling
Prepare construction drawings, quantities, cost estimates and specifications
Assist with roadway project development and other misc. civil engineering tasks for project design and delivery

A mix of technical and project management experience including, but not limited to:
Land disturbance permits and storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP)
Virginia Beach/Hampton Road experience is a plus
Previous VDOT Drainage design experience and strong knowledge of VDOT standards and procedures preferred
A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or an equivalent related degree is required
Professional Engineer license preferred or working towards obtaining a PE license in the near future
Valid driver’s license
Strong writing, oral communication, and teamwork skills
