Fuel Construction Foreman

Description

• Conduct and document daily tailgate safety meetings including identification of potential safety hazards in and around the work area.
• Read and interpret design plans; read and interpret machine diagnostic reports.
• Ensure all individuals within the work area are compliant with all safety requirements, ensure the work area is always clean and secure.
• Inspect and inventory equipment/materials/parts at the time of delivery for damage, necessary quantities, and to ensure specifications are met.
• Order materials (gravel, concrete, etc.), call-off and document rental equipment.
• Submit project related documentation to Project Manager.
• Oversee and participate in all field activities. Provide photo documentation of all phases of the day.
• Drive/haul trailer to and from job sites.
• Immediately report all accidents and incidents to Project Manager or Construction Manager.
• Stay organized and maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Continually discuss issues affecting the schedule with the Construction Manager or Project Manager.
• Keep the job within allotted labor hours. Discuss overtime hours with the Construction Manager or Project Manager prior to implementation.
• Schedule inspections, meet with inspectors and oversee subcontractors.
• Drive a company vehicle to job sites and drive extensive distances, occasionally up to 1000 miles per week (and conduct daily DVIR inspections).

Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and stairs; kneel, squat, bend, stop, twist at waist & neck, etc.
• 3-5 years related experience in commercial petroleum construction installation/supervision.
• 24 or 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate or current 8-hour refresher courses.
• Adjusting with changing field conditions and requirements.
• Ability to walk on job sites that may be dirt, cement, asphalt, uneven concrete, etc.
• Current or prior ICC UST Install/Retrofit, ICC UST Decommissioning and ICC Service Technician and Veeder Root certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to speak clearly & professionally to communicate with clients & team members.
• Complete criminal background check, MVR, physical examination and drug screening.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Teams, Word).
• Consistently present in the work area unless relieved by an interim Foreman approved by the Construction Manager or Project Manager.

The Construction Foreman will assist in coordinating construction projects in a manner that maximizes profitability to the company, surpasses the expectations of our clients, and ensures a quality product that meets or exceeds the industry standard. This position will provide services in an efficient and timely manner and conduct business in a safe, ethical, and professional manner. Additionally, this position will act as Job Site Safety Officer and implement internal company safety policies at the job site. Must be able to follow instructions and complete assigned jobs timely and safely. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Salary and BenefitsSalary range for position: $36/hr - $44/hr
