- A solid background in a similar heavy engineering or fabrication environment
- A strong understanding of health and safety procedures, with the ability to record and report any adverse actions
- The ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings with accuracy
- Experience in tack welding, Oxy/Propane cutting, and profiling components
- Proficiency as an experienced welder
- Experience in sectioning and straightening material using heat and presses
- Willingness to operate other machinery such as sub-arc welders and profiling machines
- Extensive experience in structural steelwork fabrication
- Confidence in lifting, turning, and moving heavy loads using cranes
