The Prevailing Wage Analyst (higher tier) role supports the Johnson Controls Prevailing Wage Center of Excellence by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local contract laws. The focus is on improving consistency, automation, and optimization of prevailing wage processes.
Key duties include entering prevailing wage data into the application, assisting with maintenance updates, and supporting the lead analyst in executing action plans and weekly monitoring. The analyst also reviews state websites for law changes, updates internal documents, analyzes contracts and service requests, partners with field personnel and legal teams, creates training materials, and documents best practices and departmental policies.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and strong written and verbal communication are required, along with problem‑solving, research, and prioritization abilities. Preferred qualifications include 3‑5 years of construction industry experience and a two‑year degree or equivalent experience.
