Senior Design Engineer - (Marine / Civil)

• Structural strengthening and refurbishment of existing marine assets

Senior Structural Designer required to join a specialist Marine & Civil Engineering Consultancy in Ireland. This is an office-based role working on the design of complex marine and coastal structures including quay walls, piers, retaining walls and coastal protection works. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in structural or applied structures design, ideally with exposure to marine or heavy civil works.

• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards Chartered).
• Strong structural design and analysis skills – concrete, steel and piling.
• Office-based with exposure to major national infrastructure projects.
• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in CAD / BIM and structural analysis software (e.g. STAAD, Plaxis).
• Experience in Eurocodes and relevant Irish design standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design and mentor junior staff.
• 5–10+ years’ post-graduate experience in structural or marine infrastructure design.
