  • Follow all procedures and requirements on exporting orders.
  • Operate computer as needed to check on and receive orders.
  • Set up and operate all equipment in shipping and receiving area including; postage machine, UPS machine, and Fed-Ex machine.
  • Ensure proper packaging methods are used.
  • Process all returned goods.
  • Inspect and verify all shipping and receiving order to ensure accuracy of shipment.
  • Deliver all product received to the proper area.
  • Follow instructions; both written and verbal; from production control supervisors or shipping and receiving lead.
  • Perform daily clean up tasks to ensure work areas are clean and organized.
  • Maintain and process records pertaining to all shipping and receiving activities.
  • Maintain and request supplies for area as needed.
  • Instruct lesser skilled employees in shipping and receiving area.
  • Operate fork lift and other transportation equipment in the shipping and receiving area as needed.
  • Make suggestions to supervisors for improvement of the shipping and receiving area.

  • Must be able to read and interpret all shop orders.
  • When reliable dependable performance requires reliable and dependable attendance, an employer can insist all employees, including those with disabilities, meet attendance requirements.
  • Knowledge of traffic management and export procedures.
  • Have good knowledge of all specific parts manufactured.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a fork lift certification.
  • One (1) year experience in similar environment or six (6) months as Shipping and Receiving C with Continental.
  • General knowledge of computers and shipping/receiving machines and equipment a plus.
  • Must wear all PPE required for the specific work area
  • Regular attendance and punctuality is required
  • Must be able to read and interpret all shipping/receiving instructions
