Civil Engineer (Tailings)

Description

Reporting to Principal Engineers, the Civil Engineer will be responsible in assisting with planning and design activities to ensure that a high standard of quality is achieved for the assigned projects. The Civil Engineer is also responsible for providing technical input to project teams to ensure that technical standards and efficiencies are achieved, and that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering. Post-graduate qualification will be highly regarded.
• Minimum of 2-5 years relevant work experience with Tailings in the mining industry.
• A Commitment to travel interstate and internationally when required.
• Well-developed computer skills, particularly engineering related and office automation packages.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D design experience.
• A good analytical and problem-solving mind.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated experience in the design of earth fill dams.
