Shape Mold Operator - 2nd Shift

Description

• Report to Manager at shift start for direction for the day.
• Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
• Cut, bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble and label materials per specific production instructions.
• Operate or assist with machinery such as, but not limited to block cutting, hauling, and wrapping equipment.
• Verify equipment set-up throughout the process; operate and power down manufacturing.
• Maintain productivity standards and verify all job requirements of the final products with the correct density, material, weight, size, and shape within given quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements.
• Verify shipping and receiving of all materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate pre‑breakers/re‑grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
• Must be trained and familiar with general safety.
• Must be trained and familiar with quality system awareness.
• Must be verified by supervisor and be signed off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within 2 months of hire.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Problem solving and critical thinking desired.
• Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken, preferred.
• Must be able to use simple math, count and use basic hand‑held measuring tools.
