  • Drive collaboration across departments, including Sales, Marketing, Store Design, HR, Supply Chain, Suppliers, and Retailers, to ensure full engagement and execution of the category strategy.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to boost customer loyalty, enhance the shopper experience, and maximise category performance.
  • Conduct regular range reviews using best-practice category management principles, informed by market research, consumer insights, retailer feedback, and supplier innovation.
  • Develop seasonal supply plans that anticipate demand peaks and troughs, ensuring availability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the management of product ranges and category plans, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, market demand, and profit objectives.

  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation
  • Excellent working knowledge Microsoft package in particular Excel
  • Proven track record of delivering commercial results in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent Negotiation & Numeracy skills
  • Experience working within a buying / trading team with responsibility for managing categories or product portfolios
