Manage and communicate with consultants and AltaLink project team members on project scope, objectives, accountabilities and commitments
Effectively define and manage multiple transmission line projects concurrently within a matrix organization; with budgets up to $8 Million each, from a total annual portfolio budget up to $55 Million.
Manage AltaLink's identity with clients and stakeholders affected by Line Projects
Lead a team through the siting and regulatory approval processes to receive Permit and License on projects.
Provide input to and lead initiatives as required to improve business efficiency
Manage a number of consultants and contractors throughout project execution
Manage and coordinate multiple customers and changing priorities.
Act as a key contact with clients and internal stakeholders throughout project execution reporting progress in a timely and efficient manner and obtaining approval for all scope and schedule changes
Effectively and accurately report project status, finances, and schedule for senior management

At least 4 years of engineering or project management/utility experience required
Must currently have the experience necessary to qualify, or is already registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers to promote positive customer outcomes
Must have a valid class 5 driver's license and be able to periodically go to sites to conduct observations
Capable of managing multiple competing priorities and resilient to changing circumstances
Project Management Certification would be an asset
University Bachelor Degree(s) in Engineering required.
Proven ability/experience in above noted responsibilities
Experience in leading and influencing multi-discipline teams within a matrix organization
Comfortable working in a dynamic changing environment
Proven track record of good performance and attendance.
Experience working in SAP would be an asset
Demonstrated leadership capability with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with people internally and externally
