  • Coordinate with third-party service companies
  • Carry out software updates, system enhancements, and emergency repairs
  • Support ramp-up phases of new automated warehouse installations
  • Supervise electrical and mechanical adjustments on-site
  • Maintain technical documentation and reports (incidents, improvements, PMs)
  • Deliver technical support and preventive/corrective maintenance on automated systems
  • Plan, quote, and execute after-sales service jobs
  • Analyse and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and PLC control issues

We’re looking for a skilled Automation Service Technician to provide technical support, maintenance, and continuous improvement for automated warehouse solutions.

  • Ability to read schematics, diagnose faults, and manage multiple tasks
  • Background in automation, robotics or electronics (electrical bias preferred)
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet)
  • Experience in automation, industrial maintenance, or commissioning
  • Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens Step7, TIA Portal)
  • UK driving licence & passport, with willingness to travel and cover out-of-hours work
  • Strong customer-facing and troubleshooting skills
