

Designs, fabricates, installs and integrates automation and control systems for energy infrastructure.
Key duties include installing, configuring, programming, and servicing commercial building automation systems; performing basic troubleshooting and diagnostics of devices, wiring, communications, and control logic; reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings, submittals, and sequences of operation; supporting project activities from startup through closeout with point‑to‑point checkout and functional testing; coordinating with project managers, engineers, and senior technicians; providing on‑site technical support and assisting customers; and completing work per project specifications, schedules, and quality expectations.
We are seeking a Commercial Building Automation Specialist to support commercial Building Automation System (BAS) projects across multiple control platforms. This role is ideal for a technician or early‑career engineer with 2–3+ years of hands‑on field experience who can execute core BAS tasks independently while continuing to grow technically within a collaborative project team.
Required competencies include strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, excellent verbal and written communication, solid organizational and time‑management skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. General familiarity with typical office equipment is also expected.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years of instrumentation & control (I&E) technical experience and a high school diploma or GED.
The role involves prolonged desk work and computer use, occasional lifting of up to 25‑50 pounds, and the ability to reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, climb ladders or scaffolds, and work in confined or uneven spaces. Color discrimination is required.
