The Architectural Plans Coordinator‑WA will assist in coordinating and tracking residential projects while directing outside architectural and engineering firms in plan and project coordination. This role supports senior management by ensuring smooth development of new plans and product implementations.
The coordinator manages outside architects and engineers, handling correspondence on project timelines, plan corrections, code updates, and construction issues. They work with job‑site personnel to resolve plan discrepancies and facilitate communication between consultants and internal teams, updating purchasing, marketing, sales, operations, and construction departments on plan changes and related marketing material.
Additional duties include reviewing architectural and construction documents for building‑code compliance and value‑engineering opportunities, verifying structural, roof‑truss, and foundation plans for accuracy, and conducting routine on‑site inspections to ensure plan compliance. All business is performed in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and enhance the company’s goodwill and profit.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have one to three years of related experience. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, organization, the ability to follow structured procedures, and proficiency with MS Office are required, as well as the ability to sit for most of an eight‑hour workday and meet specific vision requirements in a moderate‑noise environment.
Preferred qualifications include keen attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, and teamwork skills.
