The Engineer Systems IV role is a senior network engineer responsible for creating hybrid software and hardware products from specification through rollout and maintenance. The position supports development, testing, and supervision of electrical and electronic equipment such as broadcast, communications, motor, control, lighting, and navigation systems used by electric utilities and defense customers. Work is performed onsite/in‑office, primarily at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, and includes close collaboration with NIWC Pacific engineers and government representatives.
The position requires occasional indoor and outdoor work, may involve temperature extremes, and can include travel; physical duties include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lb.
