Reporting to the Director of Project Services, the PMO Manager will work closely with the Director to establish and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) at Rising Edge Group, focusing on improving project execution across business units and regions. The role develops and maintains project governance frameworks, facilitates cross‑functional alignment, and ensures consistent, successful delivery of projects. The PMO Manager evaluates the current state, collaborates with departments and regions to identify process differences, leads the standardization of practices, and ensures all projects follow the proper StageGate process. This person also equips teams with the tools, templates, and resources needed to deliver work effectively.
The PMO Manager will define and implement the PMO structure, standards, and tools, evaluate existing delivery practices, and lead the development and ongoing review of processes. They will own documentation, change management, and version control, and establish governance frameworks that align with corporate goals. The manager will ensure compliance with the StageGate process, monitor portfolio health, provide enablement support, and act as the central point for PMO systems. They will collaborate with department and regional leaders to align processes, drive standardization, coach project teams, and consolidate reporting to provide insight into performance and risk.
- Define and implement PMO structure, standards, and tools
- Evaluate current project delivery practices; identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Develop, approve, and continuously review project management processes
- Establish governance frameworks aligned with corporate goals and accountability
- Ensure full StageGate process adherence with appropriate approvals
- Conduct routine audits to monitor compliance and support corrective actions
- Oversee portfolio health: schedule, cost, scope, and risk indicators
- Provide teams with up‑to‑date tools, templates, and resources
- Serve as centralized point of contact for PMO systems and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot workflow issues and remove barriers to delivery
- Lead onboarding and support for new project staff (PMs, coordinators, field roles)
- Collaborate with department and regional leaders to document process variations
- Coordinate alignment across Project Management, Field, Controls, Procurement, etc.
- Drive process standardization while respecting regional execution realities
- Coach and mentor project managers on PMO standards and tools
- Organize training and development focused on project execution and controls
- Consolidate portfolio reporting to reveal performance trends, KPIs, resource needs, and risk exposure
- Integrate field‑based performance data into executive reporting
- Maintain visibility into project pipeline for strategic planning and resourcing

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree and PMP certification are preferred. They have 8–10 years of project management experience, including 3–5 years leading a PMO, and at least 5 years on high‑voltage construction or EPC projects. The candidate demonstrates expertise in developing methodologies, governance, portfolio and risk management, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with tools such as MS Project and Primavera P6.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with capability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Skilled at analyzing project data and delivering actionable insights
- Demonstrated track record of driving organizational change and enhancing PMO capabilities
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels
