The Transportation Operations & Safety Analyst role supports land‑development and redevelopment projects across Ontario, collaborating with architects and urban planners to turn client visions into reality. Candidates should be self‑motivated, possess strong communication skills, and be eager to work on a diverse mix of private and public sector projects.
- Conduct transportation impact studies and analyses for residential, commercial, and employment developments in Western Canada.
- Perform traffic operations reviews, capacity analyses, parking demand assessments, travel demand management, and road user safety studies.
- Carry out roadway planning and design studies, evaluate existing transportation facilities, and assess planned improvements.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary projects and prepare technical reports and documentation for current and prospective work.
- Serve as a client liaison by preparing for meetings, attending them, and developing meeting summaries.
- Deliver high‑quality technical deliverables on schedule and within budget.
- Apply professional judgment to identify and resolve technical problems.
- Collaborate regularly with project managers and team members to align goals and monitor progress.
- Participate in internal and external multidisciplinary meetings, site visits, and other required gatherings.
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects effectively under firm deadlines.

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in civil engineering and be eligible for professional designation or certification.
- Possess 0–3 years of relevant experience in transportation engineering.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the AB/BC Traffic Manual, Highway Capacity Manual, Synchro, and related transportation standards.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, AutoTURN, and VISSIM software.
- Exhibit excellent analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
- Be able to attend site visits and client meetings in person within the Greater Vancouver Area.
