The company is hiring an IT Technician II to independently install, configure, and support PC workstations, printers, scanners, and related equipment for its Financial Services division. The role also involves evaluating hardware and software before broader implementation and collaborating with management on projects.
Successful candidates will maintain expertise with rapidly evolving technology, work occasional overtime and overnight travel, and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, peripherals, mobile and desk phones, printers, and scanners in LAN environment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues; consult technical resources as needed.
- Perform limited server‑side tasks such as adding network printers and configuring folder security.
- Log and document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Support office relocations and hardware lease refresh projects.
- Create and maintain support documentation for fellow technicians.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to tech support processes and procedures.
- Coordinate project tasks with management and other teams.
- Assess hardware and software for implementation within the IT customer community.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field, proven problem-solving and customer-support experience with DHIFS standard hardware/software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Physical ability to lift up to 25 lb regularly and up to 100 lb occasionally is also required.
Preferred candidates hold CompTIA A+ and MCP certifications, possess at least four years of PC/LAN experience supporting 50+ users, and demonstrate strong service orientation and teamwork.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Accounting, Business Analysis or Mathematics.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software and providing customer support for DHIFS standard systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 lb regularly and up to 100 lb occasionally.
- Preferred: CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Certified Professional certifications.
- Minimum 4 years experience in PC/LAN environments, with 50+ user LAN/WAN exposure.
- Knowledge of PC and LAN products supported by DHIFS‑IT.
- Service‑oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
