- Make inspections and periodic checks of equipment to detect mechanical difficulties; maintain necessary service records as required
- Perform other related duties as required and directed by leadership to manufacture concrete products
- Perform a variety of job duties such as welding, work from shop drawings, sketches and other information.
- Observe, understand and apply all administration and safety precautions, rules and procedures throughout the plant
- Maintain work area in a clean, organized and safe manner
- Train and mentor new team members
- Operate production equipment and material handling equipment and align machines
- Operate a forklift

- Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure
- 1 plus years of experience working in a Concrete Plant
- Must be able to use extreme caution when working around cranes, trucks, forklifts and other equipment
- Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication)
- Understand operation and maintenance of equipment and related processing equipment
