Experience working for: (1) an engineering consulting firm or (2) EPCs, developers, or construction contractors in the renewable energy sector.
Thorough knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance practices.
Ability to initiate and maintain extensive relationships with key engineers and officials from other organizatio ns and companies.
5+ years of experience leading design teams
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to:
Interpret complex technical and contractual language
8+ years of experience in engineering consulting
Demonstrate empathy and critical listening skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of legal issues related to engineering practices.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
Display assertiveness and a collaborative spirit when addressing and resolving conflicts
Extensive understanding of renewable energy markets and services.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Ability to support multi-disciplinary project work with a comprehensive grasp of all Westwood Markets and Services.
