Description

The position involves preparing, finishing, and applying industrial coatings, sanding and repairing surfaces, mixing paints, primers, and coatings, performing spray painting as the primary method, maintaining equipment, ensuring clean and safe work areas, inspecting finished work, and adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.

• Prepare, finish, and apply industrial coatings to components and materials.
• Sand, prep, and repair materials and surfaces before painting.
• Ensure surfaces are clean, defect‑free, and ready for coating.
• Mix paints, primers, and coatings according to specifications.
• Perform spray painting as primary application method, using rollers or brushes as needed.
• Maintain and repair paint equipment, including spray guns and paint booths.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and safe.
• Inspect finished work for quality and completeness.
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines during preparation and application.

Requirements

Candidates must have prior work experience, be able to follow written and verbal instructions, demonstrate proficiency with spray guns and sanding tools, pay strong attention to detail, wear appropriate PPE, stand for extended periods, lift materials, work in varied temperatures, and be comfortable with paint fumes in a production environment.
